The Cultural Intelligence (CQ) Workgroup is made up of dynamic individuals from the three Health Departments with a common goal of designing products that enable employees to communicate effectively and sensitively with their fellow colleagues and the populations and communities they serve.

GOAL:  To increase the understanding of CQ relevance to deliver:

  • Responsive and reflective educational materials to compliment County-wide Anti-Racism Initiative
  • Work that paves the way for systemic cultural shifts and change
  • Improved communication with clients, patients, and coworkers
  • Enhanced understanding and empathy
  • Awareness of other cultures
  • Increased positive service outcomes
  • Positive internal and external interactions
